Peace through Parenting
Building resilience & connection through self-understanding, acceptance and authenticity

Peace through Parenting unpacks how we can build resilience through taking time for self-understanding and acceptance, and how modeling authenticity in a space of unconditional love sets the stage for connection with our children and peace in our homes. As with the ripple effect, peace in ourselves, becomes peace in our homes, community, society at large, and the world: we have the power to be the change.
Peace begins in the home, and it begins with you. This is not a behavior modification course, this is a parent-centric, parent empowering, conscious parenting deep-dive. The session objective is to bring deepened awareness to our connection with our children and provide tools to support ourselves during our lifelong parenting journey.
This session focuses on deepening our understanding of how we show up for ourselves, whether we attune to our emotions or we shut them out. We'll unpack how and why that might be happening. We'll find ways to release our emotions from our bodies to feel heard and seen. So that we can show up authentically for our children. And support them to feel safe, seen, and soothed when they also express emotions.
We'll review key concepts of neuroscience and neuroplasticity, and childhood development to better understand our expectations of our children's behavior, to understand whether our expectations are real, or whether they need to be adjusted. The session will talk about the power of nervous system regulation, and how we can support our children to co-regulate with us. We all have emotions, and it's okay. Together we'll lean into self-acceptance, and love for ourselves, and for our child(ren).
