Dreaming is not a privilege, it's a priority

Dreaming the Future is Not a Privilege—It’s a Priority

Anna Mouchref, U4 Social
Lisbon, Portugal

In times of burnout and systemic fatigue, the act of imagining becomes a radical return to self and collective visioning. This session bridges the worlds of systemic change and soul-led design. It invites participants into a living micro-practice of Dreamweaving and reminds us that dreaming is not a luxury for the privileged—it is a responsibility, a healing act, and a generative tool for designing a future built by us, not just imposed upon us.

In a world shaped by systems not built with all of us in mind, the radical act of dreaming becomes a form of resistance, restoration, and redesign. In this talk, Anna Mouchref—poet, strategist, and former multinational DEI leader—shares her journey of embedding belonging into the fabric of institutions, not as a concept, but as a sixth sense.

Belonging is not just how we feel—it’s how we sense ourselves in space, in our bodies, and in relation to one another. After leaving the corporate world, Anna embarked on the most radical act of all: learning to dream again. That personal transformation became the seed of Dreamweaving—a a modality she created to help people imagine life forward somatically, through the body, mind, heart, and hands.

It invites participants into a living micro-practice of Dreamweaving and reminds us that dreaming is not a luxury for the privileged—it is a responsibility, a healing act, and a generative tool for designing a future built by us, not just imposed upon us.

This is not just a talk. It’s a return. A remembering. A reimagining.

Presenter Bio

Anna Mouchref is a poet, strategist, and transformation guide working at the intersection of systems change, storytelling, and soul. With over a decade of experience leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives—including embedding belonging practices into one of the world’s largest organizations—Anna brings a grounded, embodied approach to creating cultures that feel as good as they look on paper. Her work in gender equity, collective leadership, and social transformation has reached global audiences, yet her deepest work begins in the body—where true change can be felt, not just theorized.

After leaving her corporate role, Anna devoted herself to the art of dreaming again—birthing Dreamweaving, a somatic and creative modality that helps individuals and communities imagine life forward through the wisdom of the body, heart, mind, and hands. Today, she works globally as a coach, speaker, retreat facilitator, and artist, helping people bridge the gap between possibility and reality. Whether through poetic performance, executive visioning, or community ceremony, Anna’s presence invites people to soften, reimagine, and design futures that feel both mystical and pragmatic. She believes dreaming is not a privilege—it is our responsibility.
