The Strategy & Solidarity Collective is currently accepting session proposals for the 2025 Global Summit:
DEI WAS NEVER ENOUGH
The Strategy & Solidarity 2025 Global summit is a unique convening of leaders, artists, activists, consultants, academics and practitioners from diverse fields, united in their commitment to hold the line for racial & social justice in the face of rising tides of fascism in the US and around the world.
Solidarity does not require uniformity, our strategies must be holistic.
We are seeking proposals for virtual sessions from anyone who has a strategy, skill, tool, story, framework, model or practice to share that can help us hold the line for racial & social justice, while dreaming of the thriving futures we are working to create, and finding joy in our solidarity & survival along the way.
Grassrooots activists and organizers, local leaders and new practitioners are just as welcome to submit as are seasoned academics, authors, influencers & public figures.
We are also seeking proposals from individuals who would like to host local Strategy & Solidarity meetups in their city. Meetups may have a theme or activity or may simply be an opportunity to connect at a coffee shop or park.

Impacts
These are the energies we are calling in and generating in the 2025 Global Summit. We expect a majority of sessions will include interactive components to engage participants in immediately applicable practices, skills and tools.
We strongly encourage multi-disciplinary sessions that combine art, music, creative expression, movement, story-telling, etc. into an exploration resonant with one of the session themes. And lecture-style presentations are welcome if they are the best fit for the presenter & content.
Each session must offer meaningful takeaways for participants and suggestions for how to incorporate the content, tools or skills into their daily work or life. Approved presenters are welcome and encouraged to promote their services, courses & products during the global summit, but we will not accept proposals that are merely teasers for another course, event or platform.
Exploration & Inquiry
Approved sessions will connect to our 2025 Global Theme DEI WAS NEVER ENOUGH by engaging one of our 3 tracks of inquiry. Session DO NOT need to discuss DEI specifically, but should connect to a skill, practice, tool, framework or inquiry that contributes to holistic approaches for achieving a just and thriving future for all.
Hold the Line
How do we hold the line for racial & social justice in 2025?
Examples of sessions that may fit into this presentation track include, (but are not limited to!):
best practices for advancing racial justice in workplaces, schools, local government, community organizations, etc. including policy, practices and/or culture change.
tools and practices for navigating racialized harm towards repair.
guiding principles for racial & social justice in 2025.
lessons learned from model projects, successful policies, experimental case studies, etc.
immediately applicable skills & tools.
structural or narrative analysis & intervention strategies.
community healing modalities & community-care strategies.
mutual aid practices, successes and opportunities.
historical analyses of past movements and how they can inform our strategies in the present.
And anything else that can help us hold the line and continue the fight for racial and social justice in 2025.
Future Vision
How do we nurture and sustain our dreams through heartbreak and injustice, while finding the faith that a just and thriving future for all is still possible?
Future Vision sessions could include:
skills & tools for connecting with our dreams, passion and creativity.
guided meditations, creative writing, rituals, ceremonies, and other practices to help us envision, connect with and call in the futures we want to create.
divination practices and tools for connecting with higher guidance & spiritual support.
biographical explorations of the lives of great dreamers & visionaries.
case studies, model communities, and other examples of just futures that are already manifest in the world.
community healing modalities, community-care practices and anti-capitalist models of community wellbeing.
And anything else that helps us dare to dream of futures beyond our wildest imaginings.
Joy in Solidarity
Can fun and joy be solidarity strategies too? Can you have true solidarity without them?
Joy in Solidarity sessions can be virtual or local meetups, live or asynchronous activities that help us build community through joy, creation, connection and celebration. The more creative the better! Here are some ideas:
song circles
dance parties
craft project prompts
movement classes
storytelling
affinity spaces
local IRL meetups
activities to reconnect with the natural world
self-care & community-care practices
celebrations or Black Futures, Indigenous Traditions, thriving beyond binaries, etc.
a series of challenge prompts to support participants in rest, creative expression, joy, or community building, etc.
And anything else that helps us connect with joy, beauty & pleasure, and with one another.
Presenter compensation
The Strategy & Solidarity Collective is committed to non-exploitative relationships and keeping resources moving through our community.
Unlike most conferences, our goal is to make the 2025 Global Summit an income generating opportunity for every participating presenter and speaker.
While we are unable to offer set speaker fees at this time, in the spirit of Strategy & Solidarity, each presenter will earn 50% commission on each registration that comes in through their unique affiliate link, along with free summit registration (a $911 value).
The Global Summit Commission Calculator can help you estimate how much you may be able to earn in commission based on your current audience/mailing list size. We will also provide images, copy and outreach recommendations for how to encourage as many people as possible to join you in this unique, timely and enlivening global convening.
