Join the Strategy & Solidarity Collective for a 7-week journey to reclaim your spirit and your energy from the bloodied jowls of white supremacist, capitalist, colonizer, patriarchy.

Reclaiming my spirit

This 7-week journey is designed to help you reclaim your time, energy, joy, creativity, power, motivation and connection to your own inner wisdom & truth, as we create a path forward beyond the scripts, limitations and violence of capitalism, colonialism and patriarchy.

Each week we’ll offer a set of skills for understanding your nervous system, cultivating energy, maintaining healthy boundaries, releasing trauma, and tapping in to your own innate wisdom to reclaim our spirits from the overwhelm and despair of structural violence and oppressive systems. Join us to reignite your passion and creativity as we work to create a just and thriving future for all.

What does spirit mean to you?

“Spirit” can mean many different things - from ghosts and guides, to a connection with the divine or the ultimate source of all creation itself.

The “spirit” we’re seeking to reclaim in this series is the divine essence of creation you carry within you — the purpose, joy and innate wisdom of your embodied soul.

We are not proselytizing for any religion or belief system. We are offering skills and tools to reconnect with your own inner wisdom, your direct connection to the divine within, and your unique path of purpose and creation.

What does spirit have to do with strategy & Solidarity?

For the past 12 years, Strategy & Solidarity co-founders Carlos Kareem Windham and Theresa Logan have been working together to support organizations in leading for racial justice. Working at the intersections of race, class, gender and disability, we saw first hand how a focus on rules & regulations, compliance & coercion failed to create the scope of change needed to dismantle oppressive systems and heal the trauma endured by the most impacted.

Dismantling systems of oppression is not solely a logical, mental task. It requires unravelling energetic patterns and harmful beliefs from our psyches, nourishing and freeing our spirits, and finding new strategies for working together beyond the violent and limiting lies & scripts of colonialism, capitalism and “professionalism.”

Reclaiming My Spirit is the culmination of decades of work on our own individual spiritual & healing paths, combined with what we’ve found most impactful in transforming group conflicts and supporting leaders in creating meaningful culture change and more just outcomes in their organizations.

Join us to radically transform how you navigate life’s challenges so you can create miracles from the chaos of this unbearably beautiful and heartbreaking world.

We’ll introduce practices for intentionally cultivating & consciously managing your energy each day.

We’ll introduce a visualization practice for using your embodied healing wisdom to identify and clear the patterns of over-reaction, under-reaction, and limiting beliefs, at their source.

Week six

Energy Clearing

We’ll continue working with our own embodied wisdom to clear unhelpful emotional patterns and core wounds so we can be more grounded, intentional, creative & strategic in our daily actions and choices.

Theresa Logan

Theresa is the founder of Subduction Consulting and Co-Founder of the Strategy & Solidarity Collective, a certified Community Resilience Model trainer and an assistant teacher at the Last Mask Center.

I was raised in the liberation theology/social justice side of the Catholic church but never felt much connection to spirit there. I felt most connected to the divine spirit of creation while camping near freshwater lakes or marveling at the vastness of the ocean.

I find great joy in dancing and singing the songs of the Orisha - who I came to know through marrying into an Afro-Cuban family. I have also been working to reclaim the blessings and gifts of my pre-colonial Irish ancestors through a working relationship with The Morrigan. I have recently completed the Cycle of Transformation with Christina Lee Pratt and the Cycle Community - an 8 year process of energy body clearing, shadow transformation and ancestral healing. I learn so much each day from plants and animals and the natural elements who are so generous in sharing their wisdom with me when I am willing to be quiet long enough to listen and receive.

I suppose I could be labeled an animist polytheist, but mostly I just strive to be a thread of true love weaving my way through the world in right relationship with the dream of all life on earth. That is what compels me to work to create a just and thriving future for all.

In addition to raising 3 remarkable teenagers and learning to better tend relationships with the land and people where I currently live, I primarily use my skills and energy to facilitate conflict transformation processes, offer skill-building workshops, and support organizations in mitigating & repairing racial harm, and leveraging their resources to advance racial justice objectives in their offices and communities.
